003 | Music Aesthetics in the View of Musical Works (2016)

본문

The pleasure of finding musical 'beauty' in a work.

Unlike previous books that listed the concepts and history of music aesthetics in text, it found its starting point in music work. He took turns looking at the musical aesthetic discussions contained in Bach's "Goldberg Variations," Beethoven's "Protagon No. 9," and Verdi's "La Traviata," which are very familiar to us.

'Music Core vs. Lyrics Centric,' 'Sound Centric vs. Issues that have been mainly discussed in the history of music aesthetics, such as "Mars Center", "Problem of Interpretation", "Genius Theory", "Reality: Beauty of Ugliness", "Absolute Music: Changing Status of Instrumental Music", and "Avant-Garde Aesthetics", are presented from a new perspective. This will serve as an opportunity to eliminate the prejudice that music aesthetics is a difficult subject to understand and lower the barriers to entry for students who were unfamiliar with the encounter of "music" and " aesthetics."

The book, tailored for a semester's class, deals in more depth with aesthetic concepts that could not be discussed in detail in the text through Depth and Reading Nuclear Power Plants, along with Listening to Music.
