Thanks to the encouragement and support of readers who read "Aesthetics in the Opera I," the writers of the Music Aesthetics Research Society have come to the "background of the situation where we have to look deeply when talking about love in the opera in an era where love is impossible." With a few exceptions, most operas are love-themed. But even though they all take on the subject of love, in fact, love in the opera is a sweet outer layer, such as party affection, used to gently wrap up serious topics. Moreover, love is impossible in a society that sees humans as a means rather than existence itself. Modern theaters point to this problem by interpreting numerous operas with different themes from different ages. The subtitle of the book, "Opera, Interpreting Strange Love," means an insight into the love behind the opera, or "Unfamiliar" love. The book focuses on how music "translates" different aspects of love and, moreover, human history depending on the times, and unfolds the diverse spectrum of 11 opera works spanning the Baroque era to the 20th century.
